Kenny Chesney, Sang all of his UPBEAT Hits almost never slowing down, honestly he seemed humbled to be there. The crowd on Saturday night was about 150k, that’s more than could fit into any of his stadium shows, probably almost double the amount. The only time he really stopped singing was to talk about the gulf oil spill and to say a prayer for the fishermen and everyone along the coast who will be or are being affected by the spill. He dedicated “Everybody wants to go to Heaven” to them. At the end of this year Kenny plans to take some time off (1year) and spend time on the farm with his dad, helping with cutting the hay, and farm work that Kenny grew up doing before he became every females pin-up. I am sure he is looking forward to this time and maybe he might take on a few days of just lying around and doing nothing for a change. But for sure we will be counting the days that he is back out on the stage. And what a night to be at Bama Jam to see my last show of the year of Kenny and to see him take the time out after the show to sign autographs of things that were tossed onto the stage. I saw everything from Hats to T-shirts-to pictures all just tossed on stage and he went through and signed tons of them. He was a worthy closer for Bama Jam.
